Sewing Kits That Keep You Creating

IndieStitch was created to make garment sewing simple, exciting, and doable—no matter how busy life gets. We take care of the prep work so you can focus on what you actually love: making.

Each month, we send a curated sewing kit that includes a full digital pattern, a color printout, high-quality fabric (you choose your favorite!), matching thread, notions, and step-by-step support.

Built for Sewists, By Sewists

IndieStitch started in March 2020 with just 3 subscribers and a big idea: what if you could just sit and sew, no need for “quick” trips to the craft store or purchasing items that won’t actually work for your project.

Within a year, we were shipping to hundreds of members. Today, we operate from a 5,000-square-foot warehouse in the College District of Cedar Rapids, Iowa—and we’ve shipped over 20,000 kits across the US and Canada.

We’ve grown, but our mission hasn’t changed: Support creativity, simplify the process, and help sewists build a handmade wardrobe they’re proud of.
